helen ducó is an american multi-disciplinary artist and designer. her philosophy is inspired by rich visual storytelling, nature, and dreamworlds.

she graduated from rice university in 2018 with majors in studio art and art history. during and after her studies, she spent a decade working for biscuit home in various roles. she helped expand the high-end interior brand through thoughtful product development and detail-oriented operations management. she now lives and works in The American Southwest. she spends her time deeply researching heirloom crafts, decorative arts, and historic preservation.

studio ducó is a response to the artist's tendency to hoard found textiles. Her practice examines the thin line between the manufacturing of functional, familiar household items and the creation of the useless doppelgängers found in her studio.
